Jeff's first official picture- if you don't count the ones taken in
delivery or the nursery. This is the first outfit I ever bought for him. At the hospital
the nurse called him 'bright eyes' and from the picture you can see why. (Please don't
tell him this picture is here!)
March 25, 2000- Jeff is sworn in as a Merit Deputy with the Marion County
Sheriff's Department with the family present. The caption reads, "Tom, I know you are
proud. Sheriff Jack Cottey"
Jeff's first MCSD Commission- after the crash. He was running Signal 10
(red lights and siren) at Stop 11 Road and Madison Avenue when he hit head-on by a drunk.
He suffered only minor injuries (mostly caused by the air bag deployment) but his laptop
was trashed and the car was totaled.
