PzKpfw.VI Konigtiger (Ardennes Front) Tamiya Kit #35252 This is the first of my 1/35 scale models. It is a German PzKpfw.VI Konigtiger- Tamiya Kit #35252. Or as it is more popularly known, a 1/35 scale model of the World War 2 German Tiger 2. It is also known as a 'King Tiger'. This particular model is being constructed to resemble the tank used by German forces in the Ardennes during the 'Battle of the Bulge' during the winter of 1944/1945. In order to make the basic model more resemble the real tank I am adding several additional accessories. These include a ModelKasten Tiger II Track kit (#SK-6), a Jordi Rubio 1/35 German 8.8cm KwK 43/L71 turned brass gun barrel (#JR06), and a Aber King Tiger photo-etch detail set (#35040) and and a Verlinden Zimmerit Set (#1796).
